Possible information
Heather came to Oregon with a temporary roommate by the name of Sam. Sam was a relative by marriage that wanted to look for work and a new beginning in Oregon and offered to help Heather move, in exchange for a place to stay. Sam is a black male adult. Sam just recently found a place to move closer to his work. Heather was driving a red/maroon colored Ford pickup with a California license plate.

ReplyDeleteHeather Thompson moved to the Green District of Roseburg on June 3, 2010. She didn’t know anybody here in Roseburg except her roommate Sam, a cousin by marriage. Sam volunteered to come along on the trip so that he could look for work and start a new life in Oregon also. He found work north of Roseburg but didn’t have transportation so he moved to walking distance of his new job on the Friday before Heather was reported missing. The family knew Sam for about 20 years and trusted him to protect her and help maintain the yard and household.
ReplyDeleteHeather frequented the Mystic Earth shop in downtown Roseburg often and met and befriended Cheryl Shelton also a person that frequented the shop. Both Heather and Cheryl gave readings in the shop on a voluntary basis. She also may have been seen in Fred Meyers or Lowe’s and Home Depot buying items for her rented house on Honey Lane. Heather drove a 2002 Maroon Ford F150 with no grill and a California license plate reading ASHARP5. The family now has the truck in Nevada.
Heather also visited Cheryl Shelton at her house in Roseburg often. Because Heather didn’t want to be by herself at night, she planed on staying at Cheryl’s house on the night of August 3, 2010. Unfortunately she never made it there. She was last heard from at 1:00PM by a friend on the east coast. We don’t know what happened between then and that night. We just know she was killed in her home. We suspect it was an emotionally disturbed person that didn’t like a reading of themselves or an acquaintance and went to Heather to complain and it got out of hand.
Sorry this had to happen to a wonderful person.. My mom and sister knew her really well..I only got the chance to meet her once..May she rest in peace!!! Let's get this POS that did this to her... SOMEONE KNOWS SOMETHING!!!!

ReplyDeleteSo, it's been 3 weeks since the autopsy and no evidence has come back? Come on... You should have some kinda DNA by know? Some one knows something, just man up and say it, help this family out!

ReplyDeleteHeather was my cousin and an only child who was so loved by her Mom and Dad and all of her family. She was the youngest cousin of our family. We all doted on her. An animal has cut her life short. I hope the parents of this animal feel pain like no other when their child faces their reckoning. It is coming, an eye for an eye. ReplyDeleteMy name is Cherry Divine and I am a Conscious Channel. I normally do not become involved with this type of case as it is my wish not to bring in information that may somehow mislead the investigation. I do want to state though that I have followed many cases and found that the information that came to me did pertain to the case.
I would like to explain now that I was not aware that I would be lead to Heather or to her case. Yesterday during a meditation the word "Coquille" kept being sent to me and was very persistant. Not knowing what it was about and I had been earlier in the day thinking about various spiritual events I went to the search engine of my computer and typed in "spiritual events in Coquill Oregon".
On the first page at the very bottom was a write up mentioning Heather and I was compelled to open that link. I will insert in here now that I did the same thing today and Heather's information does not appear. For me this is a signal that I was to "see" the information. I read the write up wondering why I was drawn to it then I closed off the page and left the computer.
Immediately after doing this I "heard" the words Randolph Lane. I went back to the computer and typed in Randolph Lane Coquill Oregon (at this time I was not aware that Heather had lived in Roseburg and was responding to the original message of Coquill) and found there is a Randolph Lane in Bandon which is a short distance from Coquill.
Again, I walked away from the computer this time thinking of Heather. As I did the word "battered" came up. This brought me back to the computer to see if I could find out more about the case and that is when I read a more detailed account which included the information of where she lived and this site.
Yesterday after being drawn to this page the words "written all over it" and "anger" came in.
Today as I was thinking of coming back to the blog page and the following came in:
Fisher or fisherman
Blue Ford Sedan
Back tail light missing or broken.
Again, I do not want to mislead or give false hope in any case. If any of this information feels valid to you please use it. I wish you all the best in solving this case.
Hi Cherry! Thank you for the information you sent. Any information helps. We are checking all and comparing. Her Mom and Dad miss her everyday. Heather always was trying to help people. That was her nature. She loved life and family and friends. She knew when things got bad and it wasn't right. This person(s) knows who killed her. Come forward for Heather's family and friends. Heather's soul needs to be set free. This person knows who are involved with her murder. Come forward now or Heather will haunt you. She didn't deserve what has happened to her or to her family and friends. We will get our JUSTICE. We miss her everyday. It is not fare. She was too young to die. I have attempted to look at every possible angle and theory without having much info to go on and without making personal judgement. If I have ever offended or hurt anyone who loved Heather, please accept my apologies, as that is not my intention. I am simply trying my best to make some sense out of the unimaginable.
I became involved with Websleuths because our family's life has been touched by a horrible crime. I am also active with Crime Victims United of Oregon. They are a wonderful resource if the family is interested.
A good question was posed today on WS. What was Heather wearing on the day she disappeared? Does anyone know? I believe that the more info put out to the public, the better.
Once again, my prayers are with you and I am hopeful that you will receive some closure and answers soon.

My mom just reconnected with Vicky and we learned of this terrible, horrific, saddening news. I just wanted to send my love to her mom and dad, Burt and Vicky, and tell them how much Heather and their family meant to me and my sister when we lived there. I remember it all so clearly, how sweet Heather was, how she ate peanut butter on EVERYTHING, the hours we spent playing with Little People, or looking for little treasures behind their property, and playing in the exquisite little 2 story playhouse that her dad had built for her...

It seems 2 or 3 people were involved in her death in some way, but no one has talked, no one has slipped up, no one has given any new clues... It seems no one really cares up there in Green, OR...

ReplyDeleteAaaahhhhh....just read about this in our local paper, The Antelope Valley Press, and it gripped me -- had to Google to find out what happened to this dear soul. SO sad, and quite the frustrating situation -- can't believe no solid information has come to give her some victory in death over this horrible, cowardly theft of her destiny! I can do nothing but pray, and pray for the hidden things to be revealed, for justice between Heather and her killer, for her blood to cry out and be heard in the heavenlies and mete out due restitution and punishment for the perp who should have not even one more peaceful night's sleep, not even one more sane dream, not even one more unbothered moment of life. My condolences to her family, and memorializing her name is a very kind and decent thing to do for her. Her images, her memories, that still reside in the hearts and minds of those who love her, are her legacy, and they should be punctuated with a righteous update that her killer has turned himself in and awaiting his own judgment. He had no right to blow out her light before it had really begun to shine.

My big brother and I have not said a word that you are guilty of this crime, I'm not a detective that is not my job.

ReplyDeletePrince, I'm sorry for your lost. Heather was a very good friend to me. Her and Dave lived next door to me and my boyfriend at the time. Me and him had a bad relationship. If it wasn't for Heather, I would have never gotten out of there. She saved me. I think about her all the time, and I wish the person that took her from us would have been caught by now. I've seen this show on tv, TNT called Cold Justice. The police department has to write into the show to have them open and reinvestigate a case. Would you consider having them try and contact the show?

ReplyDeleteThis case has been investgated and sent to the DA's office back in 2010. DCSO knows who committed this murder and has substantual evidence pricing this. I can tell you the hang up is charges/grand jury has bot been activated by the DA's office. This us a very prosecutable case. If this was my daughter, i would be contacting and putting pressure on the DA's office and demand prosection. If you do bot get results there, cobract the Department if Justice heather deserves justice

ReplyDeleteNo trial date exists at this point because the DA said they only get one shot at this and there appears to be a few issues. Heather's parents would have posted directly but they don't have a Google account yet

DeleteVicky and Burt ~ I was contacted about a year ago from Teri who was devastated to hear of Heather's untimely death. It was my intent to reach out to you sooner; however...I found myself not knowing what to say or how to convey my sadness for your loss of Heather. Heather was never left wanting for love with you as her parents. You were always so thoughtful, kind, loving....and there was nothing you would not have done for that beautiful girl of yours. I am so sorry for what has occurred....and as a mother now myself....cannot imagine a more deeper pain than that which you now carry. I regret not having kept in touch over the years...but I will always be thankful for having known Heather. She made my childhood bearable...better...and fun. I will carry her and you in my heart.
